What is an air-source heat pump?
air-to-air and air-to-water heat pumps
There are two types of air-source heat pumps - air-to-air and air-to-water. The most common is an air-to-air heat pump which takes heat from the air and transfers that heat to the inside or outside of your home depending if it's winter or summer. The other type of heat pump is air-to-water, which is used in homes with hydronic heat distribution systems.
